Intent: Thanksgiving
As Christians, we realize that all good things come from God. We merit nothing on our own. Everything we have—our family, friends, faith, health, material things (our daily bread), indeed our very life was given to us by God. Although we can never repay our Lord for these gifts, it is right to give Him thanks and praise incessantly.
Rejoice always, never cease praying, render constant thanks; such is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thess 5:17-18).
And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him (Col 3:17).
